Inspired by a friend's collection of paper dolls  this quilt is like piecing an entirel neighbourhood.  The medallion-style quilt has a traditional schoolhouse block in the centre, surrounded by a picket fence.  All of the girls have come out to play with their cats and dogs featured in the corner blocks .  The outermost border of houses and trees is a great place to feature your favourite novelty prints.

This quilt is made using a combination of template and rotary cutting techniques and is able to be stitched by hand or by machine.
