For the fabrics in the Meadow Star collection, Alexia drew inspiration from applique quilts, specifically the designs in antique album or sampler quilts. The hero print in the group is the large-scale Applique Menagerie design, which provides endless piecing, fussy-cutting, or even whole-cloth quilt possibilities.
